Many UAN distributors and their retail customers still anticipate North American producers will make pre- pay offers for Q1 or Q2 availability within a couple of weeks. Forward offers for modest volumes have reached $8.59/unit ($275/st) FOB in the Midwest primarily from suppliers relying on imports. This has led to speculation about even higher prices from domestic producers for UAN that could be provided to end users during Q2.
