Sulphuric acid markets remained firm but quiet, with most market participants focused on contracts for the coming months and year. Sellers and traders were still mostly focused on Chile, both for 2019 contracts and for spot sales. Enquiries began to surface for Q2 spot supply to Chile. Although there continued to be some rumours of contract settlements, most sources reported a persistent gap between buyers and sellers.
