India: DAP prices edge lower

Low demand continues to pressure DAP prices downwards in India although this has been offset somewhat by rupee appreciation and limited availability. There is still very limited buying interest at the $420-424/t CFR range, according to sources, but most bids are now indicated below $415/t CFR with buyers focused on selling previously secured stocks and clearing/changing inland bagged material at old maximum retail prices to normalise the INR 28,000-29,000/t rate planned for further November sales.
