Egyptian producers remain optimistic that the likely urea tender in India will provide a much needed boost to urea prices that have been under pressure since the scrapping of the July 3-4 Abu Qir (AQ) tender for the sale of 25,000 t each granular and prilled product. The producer reports availability of up to 40,000 t each of the two grades for August loading, and is likely to negotiate directly with potential buyers in coming days.
