US Midwest: UAN stronger thanks to corn outlook

Distributors are raising their demands for UAN sharply, with quotes up to $6.41/unit FOB west of the Mississippi River. Indications previously were closer to $6.03/unit FOB in on both sides of the Mississippi River. Higher prices for UAN are being supported by rising urea costs and both products are getting support from predictions of around 95 M acres of corn this spring.
