Europe: Spot market remains tight

Spot prices for sulphuric acid exports from European smelters were assessed unchanged at $60-70/t FOB Northwest Europe on an indicative basis, as new deals were scarce given holidays in Europe and a lack of spot availability. Sources said that Petrokemija bought two cargoes in the mid-$70s/t FOB last week for October shipment, although this could not be confirmed.
