OCP H1 revenues up 15% on higher prices, volumes

OCP posted a 15% rise in revenues during the first six months of 2018 to MAD 26.60 billion ($2.86 billion) in a statement on September 7. The company attributed the rise to higher sales volumes for phosphate rock, phosphoric acid and fertilizers, along with higher prices from fertilizers and phosphoric acid. First half fertilizers revenues rose 21% year on year to MAD 14.92 billion, phosphoric acid revenues in H1 rose 17% to MAD 4.29 billion while H1 phosphate rock revenues fell 2.3% year on year to MAD 4.90 billion.
