Global: Potash netbacks up on China contract price rise

Potash producer netback prices were lifted significantly this week by the settlement of a new China contract price of $290/t CFR for 2018/19 supply. The H2 2017 China contract price of $230/t CFR had previously been holding down the low end of netback price ranges for standard MOP sales from Vancouver, the Red Sea and the Baltic Sea.
