Grupa Azoty's shareholders gave consent to a planned takeover of all shares in European NPK producer Compo Expert, according to a press release on October 15. The purchase has also been approved by the Turkish Competition Authority, along with similar authorities in Germany and Austria. The takeover is expected to cost no more than €235 million ($271.2 million) and is expected to close between Q4 2018 and Q1 2019.
