India: April-July urea production, sales and imports up

Domestic output of urea in India from April through July reached 7.97 Mt, up by 5.6% on the 7.55 Mt produced in the same months in 2017, according to latest FAI data. Sales of 9.55 Mt were ahead 3.2% year on year, and imports over the period of 2.32 Mt were up by 1.4%. Domestic output in July if 2.01 Mt was ahead 0.6%, while sales were up 4.6% to 2.93 Mt. July imports declined 69.9% year on year to 174,000 t in July 2018.
