Notore Chemicals plans fertilizer plant expansion

Notore Chemicals in Nigeria is planning to expand its existing fertilizer facility near Onne port in Nigeria, according to Nigeria’s Daily Trust newspaper. The company said it made progress in talks with Mitsubishi and other investors for the construction of a new plant at the facility, adding a second train to produce another 1 Mt fertilizer and 500,000 t methanol.
