Southeast Asia: Some Q3 contracts settled; spot slow

Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to Southeast Asian buyers such as in Indonesia or Vietnam were pegged by most sources as no higher than the low-to-mid-$70s/t CFR, and in some cases in the $60s/t. The higher prices would equate to netbacks around the low-to-mid-$40s/t FOB Japan/South Korea, while some spot sales in June were reported in the $30s/t FOB.
