DAP/MAP firm as phosphoric acid prices extend rise

DAP/MAP prices remained firm in most markets this week as OCP secured higher prices in third-quarter phosphoric-acid contracts with India and Europe and DAP/MAP suppliers are largely sold out for July shipments. Buyers in India confirmed that Q3 phosphoric acid contracts with suppliers have now increased $28/t to $758/t CFR 100% P2O5. Phosphoric-acid prices in India have now increased $191/t on a 100% P2O5 basis since the Q4 2017 price of $567/t CFR.
