Trade in ammonia is extremely limited with more than one trader describing the market as ‘dead’. Spot buyers are refraining from making purchases in anticipation of softer prices. In the absence of activity, participants have started discussing what the new Tampa February price settlement between Yara and Mosaic will be. General consensus is for a rollover at $355/mt CFR or a slight decrease.
