Spot prices for sulphur cargoes of 10,000 mt or less in the Mediterranean region were assessed down at $130-155/mt CFR from $155-165/mt CFR as demand from Egypt diminished considerably. Sales to Egyptian buyers last month ranged from the $160s/mt to the $190s/mt CFR, but there was now no interest from the buyers as sulphur supply was deemed sufficient, sources said. There were also no prompt requirements heard from Israel or Lebanon.
