DAP/MAP prices stable as 2017 draws to a close

Global DAP/MAP prices were flat to slightly higher this week as very low import demand was offset by extended tight availability. Benchmark DAP prices rose $30-50/mt through the fourth quarter. Most suppliers are still pushing for higher prices following the recent upward jolt in raw-material prices but buyers are reticent to accept any further increase.
