Downwards pressure persists on acid prices

Sulphuric acid remained under downwards pressure, as spot demand was lacklustre while improved availability was heard from some suppliers. Spot prices for sales to Brazil were assessed down at $50-70/mt CFR on an indicative basis after business reported as low as the low $50s/mt CFR, with even the upper end of the lower range likely to be challenging for sellers to achieve.
