Brazil: Supply tight; producers target higher prices

Spot availability of granular MOP to Brazil remains limited as producers continue to target higher prices, though the market was assessed unchanged at an indicative $275-285/mt CFR. Brazilian prices were pegged by BPC at $290-300/mt CFR although no sales were confirmed this week at these levels. Offers from other producers were heard within the same range, though $290/mt CFR was cited most commonly.
