MAP demand in Brazil remains in a lull with high stocks and currency depreciation limiting buying interest. Brazilian DAP/MAP imports between January and April this year reached 1.5 Mt, up from roughly 850,000 t in the same period last year, IHS reports. There are no confirmed deals reported this week with most market sources pegging the Brazil MAP price at $300-305/t CFR, down slightly from $303-305/t CFR last week.
