Brazil: Jan-Nov granular phosphates imports up 2.7%

Brazil imported 9.8 Mt granular phosphates (DAP/MAP/TSP/SSP/NPK/NP and NPS) in the f irst 11 months of 2020, a 2.7% rise year on year as increases in DAP/MAP imports more than of fset declines in all other products, according to IHS Markit data. MAP imports in the f irst 11 months of 2020 rose 20% year on year to 4.5 Mt. Volumes from Morocco increased 48% to 1.7 Mt, imports from Russia jumped 42% to 992,748 t while imports from Mexico rose to 245,476 t from 55,313 t and volumes from China jumped to 318,777 t from 150,587 t.
