India: January urea sales close to 2019 volume

Sales of urea through January 31, 2020 recorded by the Department of Fertilizers (DoF) of 4.02 Mt via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) monitoring did not quite match those in January 2019 at 4.03 Mt. DBT sales recorded in February 2019 were 1.99 Mt, and then dipped to 1.4 Mt in March. April-June sales in 2019 were 804,000 t, 1.1 Mt and 2 Mt, respectively, while sales in July reached 3.89 Mt and August 4.67 Mt.
