US UAN imports were significantly lower during the first three months of the US market year ended September 30 versus the prior year period, according to the most recent figures from the US Department of Commerce (DOC). Between the relevant periods the New Orleans UAN-32 benchmark moved down $35/st, from an average of $155/st FOB during Q3 2019 to $120/st FOB for Q3 2020. By comparison, the Baltic UAN-32 price barely budged. It added $1/t to the average price during July-September 2019 to reach the July-September 2020 average of $150/t FOB.
