US S. Plains: DAP/MAP leap after barge increases

DAP and MAP prices from terminals along the Arkansas River are uniformly higher this week, as distributors act to keep pace with replacement costs. The low price for DAP this week in the Southern Plains is $385/st FOB. This reflects not only the jump at New Orleans last week to a high of $355/st FOB, but arguably allows for further increases in costs to resellers.
