Spot prices for sulphur exports from the Middle East were assessed up at from $43-48/t FOB from $40-45/t on an indicative basis as spot sales were scarce, and some sources were pegging prices higher than this. Most market participants agreed there were effectively no prompt spot cargoes available. Qatar's Muntajat posted its official sales price for March at $43/t FOB, up $1/t from February. Subsequently, Kuwait's KPC increased its KSP $5.50/t to $46.50/t FOB for March and Adnoc increased its OSP $4/t to $48/t FOB.
