China: Port prices jump but deals scarce

Spot prices for sulphur sales in China increased further this week, particularly on port spot sales, while port stocks declined further but at a slower rate than in recent weeks. Spot offers were in the low $100s/t CFR, but there appeared to be limited tonnes on offer and no deals were confirmed. Although sales have been rumoured above $100/t CFR for more than a week, no business this high has yet been confirmed.
