Iran: Urea output still suspended at all units

Output of urea in Iran remains suspended due to a surge in natural-gas demand for heating purposes in the last 10-12 days, Iranian delegates at this week’s FLA Conference in Sao Paolo confirm. The suspension of urea output is expected to last for another 7-10 days from all Iranian units. Shiraz Petrochemical Co. reports it is sold out of urea through mid-February, and a similar situation is suggested at Pardis Petrochemical Co. and at Kermanshah Petrochemical Industries Co.
