Vietnam extends safeguard duty on fertilizers

Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade is extending the country’s safeguard tariffs on imported fertilizers for two and a half years starting March 7, Vietnam Plus reports. The fertilizer import duty will be set at VND 1.05 million/t ($46/t) for twelve months starting March 7 before declining slightly to VND 1.03 million/t for the next twelve months.
