NW Europe: MOP prices track Brazil lower

Potash suppliers have been unable to prevent declines in European markets following more significant decreases in granular MOP spot prices in Brazil. Demand for gMOP in Northwest Europe has picked up ahead of the spring season, but the emerging sales have reportedly been made at lower prices over the last two weeks. Price indications for the region are commonly cited at €250-255/t CIF.
