Concerns over the spread of Covid-19 across the globe are making buyers nervous and supplier optimism west of Suez is showing signs of fading. US ammonia prices have so far been left unscathed by the havoc created in some US nutrient markets by the Covid-19 virus. The early start seen for ammonia application work has helped producers raise inland price demands in recent weeks, and further increases to $400/st FOB are possible in the Midwest in April.
