Latest data from China Customs via IHS Markit confirms provisional estimates of May exports of urea of 600,000 t, up sharply from the 216,000 t exported in May 2019. India was in the lead with 320,000 t, up from 54,000 t in the prior year. Exports to Mexico reached 90,000 t from less than 1,000 t in 2019, and Australia accounted for 59,000 t versus 5,000 t in the prior year. Myanmar jumped to 45,000 t from 10,000 t while South Korea was down to 34,000 t from 48,000 t.
