Sulphur market cautious as holidays begin

Sulphur markets were gripped by caution and uncertainty, leaving spot activity scarce as China began holidays for the Lunar New Year. Port inventories in China reached a new record high, while port prices remained relatively stable as buyers and traders waited until after the holidays to make decisions. Still, the upper end of the CFR spot range inched up to $69/t on the latest business.
