China: 2019 SOP exports surpass 325,000 t

China exported 18,900 t SOP in December, with exports for the full year of 2019 surging to roughly 325,900 t, according to preliminary Chinese customs statistics. The 2019 volume is up significantly from CRU’s estimate of 105,000 t for 2018. This follows China’s removal of the SOP export tariff at the beginning of 2019.
