US: Market year UAN exports end lower

As expected after a year of mostly declining shipments overseas, US market year UAN exports for July 2019-June 2020 fell 23%, according to the latest data from the US Department of Commerce. June 2020 UAN exports were 176,312 st (159,949 t), down 7% from June 2019. This brought UAN exports for the 12 months ended June 30, 2020 to 983,073 st (891,838 t) a decline of 23% from the prior market year. The country-by-country data shows that the EU’s duty on UAN exports from the US and other countries was the driver behind the decline.
