The Department of Fertilizers (DoF) has yet to provide clearance for a follow-up tender for urea to discharge on West Coast India (WCI) following the mere 90,000 t booked for that coast via the March 30 RCF tender. A tender is still expected to emerge at the end of April, and purchases of about 500,000 t for WCI are expected to ensue. The DoF may also elect to clear additional volumes given the partial suspension of output from domestic urea plants during the lockdown.
