Several price assessments for sulphuric acid business were assessed higher this week, and tight availability has led some recent deals to be concluded well above assessment equivalents and has caused some buyers to postpone purchases. Along with tight availability from producers in both the Atlantic and Pacif ic regions, acid prices are being supported by price increases for copper, phosphates and sulphur.
