Turkey: Assessment declines for current business

Prices for sulphuric acid volumes to Turkey were assessed down at $60-75/t CFR for spot and contract sales following feedback from market participants. Turkey has imported acid from a range of origins this year as its key supplier, the Pirdop smelter in Bulgaria, underwent a large maintenance in Q2. In addition, the Pirdop smelter has been exporting increasing volumes to Serbia.
