Tanzania: Government approves extra DAP/urea imports

The Tanzanian Minister of Agriculture and Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority (TFRA) agreed to allow the import of DAP/urea outside of the country's bulk procurement system up until 15 February 2020. The TFRA sent the update in a circular to all fertilizer importers in Tanzania, asking them to submit the import plan for the specified time period by December 20 in order to add it to the import plan for the country.
