Brazilian MAP buyers remain largely out of the import market due partly to a less-favourable barter ratio although there are reports of further MAP deals at lower prices this week. Trader Nitron reports that it sold a cargo of MAP to Fertipar at $395/t CFR. This is rumoured to be 5-10,000 t from Mexico and it would be the lowest MAP price seen in Brazil since December 2017 if confirmed.
