Heringer Fertilizantes’ gross profit from January through September declined 81% year on year to BRL 30.6 million ($7.3 million) amid lower sales prices and volumes during the period. Net revenue in the nine months reached BRL 692.8 million ($166.1 million), down 78% year on year from BRL 3.19 billion in the same period 2018. The company's costs in the nine-month period reached BRL 662.2 million ($158.8 million), down from a cost hit in the same period last year of BRL 2.95 billion ($708.4 million).
