Turkey: 2018 acid imports down 9%; exports jump

Turkey’s 2018 imports of sulphuric acid were down 9% year on year at 580,717 t, according to data via IHS Markit. As is typical for Turkey, the majority of the imports came from Aurubis’s Pirdop smelter in Bulgaria, which supplied 555,590 t, down 8%.
