Phosphate rock production by Tunisia’s Gafsa Phosphate Company (CPG) reached 1.27 Mt in the January to April period, up 49% year on year, according to Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP). The increase is still below CPG’s target production of roughly 1.7 Mt during the period in order to reach around 5.0 Mt in 2019.
