India: Acid imports up, exports down in 2018

India’s sulphuric acid imports for 2018 jumped 63% year on year to 1.41 Mt, though this was still below 2016 imports, according to data via IHS Markit. Imports from Japan more than doubled to 501,155 t, while the volume from South Korea climbed 42% to 499,491 t.
