Sulphur market activity in China seemed to slow again following last week’s uptick in demand and prices, with several market participants again expressing a more bearish tone. Although relatively strong enquiries from Chinese traders were reported last week, with sales concluded as high as $128-129/t CFR, this interest appears to have died down, according to market sources.
