US ammonia exports during July 2019 dropped 90% to start the US market year compared to July 2018 shipments, according to the latest data from the US Department of Commerce. The sharp drop in exports likely was encouraged by the $33/st difference between the domestic benchmark at New Orleans and deep-water benchmark at Tampa throughout July 2019 favoring sales in the US.
