US NOLA: Barge potash prices unchanged

Barge indications for granular potash are as stable as inland market prices this week, with no change from $243-246/st FOB New Orleans. Inland prices arguably support higher returns to New Orleans, but the inland supply chain is filling up from summer purchases. An expected--and in many cases hoped for--late harvest means imports from offshore may have to wait for November for demand to better reflect end-user markets.
