Pakistan: March urea offtake up sharply year on year

Pakistan's urea offtake in March 2019 at 408,000 t was up by 19.4% on the same month a year earlier, according to the latest assessment by the National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC). March availability of urea was assessed at 545,000 t comprising carryover from February of 54,000 t, and domestic output of 491,000 t. Around 135,000 t were carried over into April.
