Mosaic's Brazil mines returning to operation

Mosaic Co. is resuming mining activities at its Brazil subsidiary's Catalao phosphate rock mine in the state of Goias. The Mosaic Fertilizantes' mine is operating at full capacity again, the company said in May 28 press release. Mosaic continued to meet its customers’ needs while Catalao and other mines have been idled, Mosaic CEO Joc O’Rourke said. "We believe that we will return to full operation across our Brazilian mines by the end of the third quarter.”
