DAP/MAP spot demand was rare this week, with distributors and other buyers mostly covered for their fall needs by fill commitments made earlier in the summer. Retailers are also looking for offers well below recent quotes in the $340s/st FOB for DAP in the Southern Plains due to the decline seen in replacement costs out of the barge market.
