US Gulf: Spot assessed lower but sales scarce

Spot prices for sulphur exports from the US Gulf were assessed down on an indicative basis at $50-60/t FOB from $70-75/t. Bids were heard in the $50s/t FOB, and it would be difficult to obtain higher in the current market given recent spot business in both Brazil and Morocco reported in the $60s/t CFR.
