India: Q1 DAP imports surpassed 1Mt-IHS

India imported just over 1.0 Mt DAP in the first quarter 2019, up year on year from 380,196 t, according to customs data via IHS Markit. Volumes from Saudi Arabia surged to 373,139 t from 153,965 t while imports from China jumped to 299,824 t from 13 t. Imports from Jordan rose 9.5% to 144,900 t, with volumes from the US up to 144,820 t from 49,607 t .
